Camp Koinonia rents year-round to large groups only. We do not offer individual camping sites.
We can accommodate groups of up to 120, plus a shaded RV area with some electrical connections and places to set up tents. All rentals include full use of the camp facilities (see Facilities page) including the Main Lodge, Cabins, Game Room, and Recreation areas (see Recreation page).
1. RENTAL FEE:
2022 Fees: $16 per person/per night (5 & under free*), $400 minimum
Pool Season: (May 15-Sept. 15) $19 per person/per night (5 & under free*),
Off Season: $18 per person/per night (5 & under free*), $450 minimum
*The exception to this rule would be for groups that cater specifically to preschool-aged children. In that case, price per child will be negotiated.
2. RENTAL DEPOSIT:
$200 due at time of reservation. Your reservation is not confirmed until we receive the Rental Deposit.
3. OPTIONAL CLEANING FEE:
Your group is responsible for cleaning the camp before the Check-Out time (11 a.m.) on the last day of your stay. You will receive a list at Check-In which includes tasks like dumping garbages, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down mattresses, cleaning toilets, etc.
You also have the option to pay a $200 cleaning fee and we will clean the camp for you! Either way, your group is still responsible for doing their dishes, returning items to their designated locations, and putting trash in garbages.
Even if your group is cleaning, there are still many other tasks such as pool maintenance, repairs, and restocking that the camp staff has to do between groups. For this reason, we do not offer later Check-out times to groups. Groups who are cleaning must complete cleaning tasks and vacate the premises by the Check-Out time (11 a.m.).
4. PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE (EVENT INSURANCE):
Groups must obtain liability insurance in order to use our facility. The typical cost for a weekend group is around $100-$150. Churches and organizations that already have insurance should contact their insurance provider to see what they offer for group/event insurance. Families should be able to get group/event insurance through an individual's home/life insurance provider. Your reservation is not confirmed until we receive a Proof of Liability Insurance that specifies the dates you will be renting the camp.
